Temporary Relief from Notary Attestation for Registrants and Other Filers Affected by the COVID-19 Outbreak Granted by the Commissioner under N.D.C.C. § 10-04-03(2)
The North Dakota Securities Commissioner understands that registrants and other filers may not be able to obtain notary attestation at this time. Until further notice, the North Dakota Securities Department will accept a signed unsworn declaration as an attachment to any document subject to notarization requirements, pursuant to Chapter 31-15 of the North Dakota Century Code. The unsworn declaration must include the following or substantially similar language:
I declare, under penalty of perjury under North Dakota law, that the foregoing is true and correct.

This notice may be printed, signed and attached to subject documents to satisfy the unsworn declaration requirement.
