Bismarck, ND - On August 6, 2008, the North Dakota Securities Department announced its ongoing investigation into a Canadian-based, internet fraud scheme being promoted in several communities in the state. Pathway-2-Prosperity or P-2-P Network, which claims offices in Baysville, Ontario, is not registered in North Dakota and its offerings of unregistered, high interest, short-term investment contracts in the state is in direct violation of the North Dakota Securities Act. The Department would like to clarify that its investigation in no way involves the Turtle Mountain Pathways To Prosperity office in Belcourt, North Dakota. Turtle Mountain Pathways To Prosperity, also known as tmp2p, is a non-profit organization dedicated to reducing poverty and unemployment on the Turtle Mountain Band of Chippewa Indian Reservation.
